I usually use my mouse scroll to change dial parameters. I’ve noticed that in the Blackhole plug-in, whenever I hover over “Mix” and “Gravity”, parameters “Depth” and “Rate” are modified instead, respectively. However whenever I hover over any other parameter in the plug-in, it works as intended.
Has anyone else noticed that?

Hi, sorry for your issue. For starters, could you please give a bit more information regarding your set up?
Are you using Windows or macOS and what operating system are you running? Which DAW are you using?
I just tested this using Big Sur and wasn't able to reproduce the issue in Ableton 11 or Pro Tools 2020.9.1, all of the correct parameters were adjusted when using the mouse scroll. I'll see if I can reproduce your issue using your same OS and DAW.
Thanks,
Tyler

Sure I understand the confusion, thanks for clarifying the issue and testing it with ShimmerVerb as well.
Could you confirm that you are running the latest version of both plug-ins? If not, please use the appropriate installers for each plug-in and let me know if the issue persists.
Thanks!

Thanks! Checked – I got the latest version of both, Blackhole 3.8.7 and ShimmerVerb 1.0.5 – reinstalled again just in case but still have the odd behaviour on mouse scroll.
I’ve checked the Support Information (Right click on Eventide logo) and I’m using the VST3 version of both plugins.

Thanks for the info. We weren't able to reproduce this issue using Bitwig 3.2 on Windows 10.
Could you check if this also happens for you when using the VST2 version of the plug-in?
If you have another DAW you could test this with, that would be helpful too.

Hi!
No problem, the plugins sound incredible! it’s just that for a quick modification on these parameters just confuses me a bit whenever something else starts to move.
I am using Win10 Home (Version 2004) with Bitwig 3.3.7. I as well checked with ShimmerVerb and have the exact same issue; when hovering over “Mix” and “Decay” and turning the mouse scroll, the knobs “Mid” and “High” move, respectively. Whenever I hover over “Depth” and “Rate” in Blackhole and “Mid” and “High” ShimmerVerb, they work fine. All other knobs work as intended. Just happens on the first two knobs on both plugins.
Thanks!
