Damage control midi controller and expression pedal

  So I bought a Damage control midi pedal with three buttons and it has a tap tempo output too.
  
  I am hoping to also use the expression input for an expression pedal. Anything that I should watch out for.

  Can you provide the exact model? Damage control is making many different models but AFAIK none of them have only 3 buttons, they all have 5.
