Disabling incoming program change H9

Hi everyone,

I recently bought an H9 Max to use with some hardware synths. I am trying to figure out how to slave the H9 clock to my Elektron Octatrack which is the Master in my rig. Also, how does one disable incoming program changes on the H9? Currently, when I send a program change to all my hardware, the H9 also changes preset which I dont want it to?

For reference, my H9 is hooked via midi Thru from my Vermona Perfourmer MK2 and connected to its outs for processing the sy ths sound only.

You can't directly disable Program Change inputs to the H9 (sorry – no-one has asked for this).

You could:

1) Set [RCV CH] to OFF. This would disable MIDI CC as well.

2) Set the [RCV.MAP] entries to OFF. This would be tedious if you had many PC's to consider.

Neither of these approaches are ideal – normally if you send it a PC you expect it to respond.
