I have the H90 and a GT1000CORE being controlled by a Morningstar MC8, but I find myself using the H90 front panel more than the MC8. I’m wondering if I removed the MC8, can I set it up to where the H90 sends PC changes directly to the GT1000CORE? I saw in the manual that the H90 transmits midi, but I’m not sure if that means sending a midi message from a controller or creating the message from the H90 itself.

Yes, this is possible if the H90’s MIDI output is set to transmit. I recommend watching this tutorial. Go to 10:29: https://etide.io/H90T2

I believe that you cannot customize / edit what PC changes the H90 sends or send them without changing the program on the h90.
In other words the H90 sends the same program as it sees internally (changing from program 10 to 11 will send PC11 to the other devices). This may not be an issue with your set up but I couldn’t quite organize my thoughts to get it to work with mine, as I sometimes want to control one of the other midi pedals without changing the program on the H90. (I did downsize from a MC6 to a disaster area dmc micro pro however, as the H90 did most/all of the performance stuff I’d used the MC6 for).ideally, a future version would allow you to assign PC or CC # to hotswitches or other (external?) switches on the H90.

It’s already possible to send CC#s with external switches using the Midi transmit menu. https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.5.2/content/system-menu/midi.html

Thanks! Right.
I’d meant PC in addition to CC messages.
