DSP 7000 noise problem

Hi – I bought one of these units second hand but unfortunately on delivery discovered a constant 'digital ticking' noise running in the background. It stops when loading another another preset and then reappears. It's also there if the bypass button is pressed

Any idea what might be the problem?

Hard to know from. a distance. 

Is it on all channels ?

On analog and digital ?

Does it. change if you vary any of the gain settings ?

If you run a reverb, is there reverb on the clocks ?
