Easy question for you exp pedal users

Hi forum.  I was going to pick up an expression pedal for my modfactor, but just wanted to check on something: when a patch is selected, do the setting shift to wherever the pedal is set, or does it ignore the pedal and reference the original patch settings until it is moved?  Thanks!

It ignores the current pedal setting on loading, otherwise it could sound different every time.
