      Sorry, I don't know anything about expression pedals, but I want to get one for my MF. What is the difference between the Ernie Ball VP Jr Active and Passive pedals? Will both work for the MF, or just the Active?

      As far as I can see, the main difference is the pot resistance, which is 250k-500k for the "passive" and 25k for the "active".

      This means that you should use the active type, as the passive one probably has too high a resistance (it will work, but only over part of the pedal travel).
