Do You (Eventide) plan to make a software editor for TimeFactor? It would be very nice to tweak parameters for patches from PC or Mac… Any chances?

We have our FactorLib librarian and will probably add some editing features to future versions.
Note that it would be hard to do a complete computer editor because of the way that the parameters inter-react.

Thanks for your answer nickrose! I'm sure that a complete TF editor would be a great technological challenge to make, but it would also be an incredible support to this amasing delay unit and it would bring a great joy to us users! 🙂 Anyway looking forward to future updates of FactorLib!

what do you mean they "interact"?
couldn't you just make an editor like the vox tonelabs?

Changing one knob can sometimes change the meaning or scale of another one. In addition, they are often not linear, and change their meanings from preset to preset.
All these result in the desire to improve the useability, but mean that you would have to make a Mac and PC version of each of the pedals if you wanted a complete computer editor. This is not easy or likely.
What we can do is add remotes, maybe with unlabelled knobs, where you read the value from the pedal. This is not ideal, but would be better than nothing.

Remotes, even with unlabelled knobs, where you read values from or write values to the pedal, and why not save it as a preset – now that would be useful enough for me.
