I have been using my H9000 for some years with reliable connection via both wireless and now wired.

I finally really got into using it as a plug in with Logic, and it works great there.  But now I can’t use the stand-alone app.  I get the error “Could not connect to 9K-00335. An error occurred while connecting to the device. Please check that the device is connected to the network”.

Again, I only have this problem using it stand-alone.  The plug in still works fine and the H9K responds to changes.

I fully shut down Logic before trying to use Emote in standalone.   I have rebooted Emote, the H9K and my iMac multiple times.  No luck.

Appreciate any advice or help on this.

Check to make sure that you have the latest versions of emote, the plugin and the H9000 firmware.  I once had one of them as an older version and had similar issues on Windows.

Hey thank you for the reply.

I’ve double checked all that and yes latest updates all around.

Very strange how the emote plug in works just fine but standalone not at all.

Ok.   I went and reinstalled the emote app and that appears to have fixed it.
