I aquired a Roland EV-5 expression pedal recently and have been testing it on my Timefactor and Pitchfactor. Every time I use the pedal it sweeps discreet amounts at the heel and toe positions and then changes the sweep rate drastically in the middle. I feel like an idiot for having to ask but is there a way to make the sweep uniform rather than weighted at the two ends?

Hi Freddy,
Unfortunately the sweep you mentioned is a characteristic of the Roland's potentiaometer and there is no way for the Factor pedal to change that. The Ernie Ball VP JR. pedal is a better choice since its sweep is more uniform.

this is the answer i've been looking for. I have expression pedals from my Foxrox TZF that I've been using. There's no way the PF can calibrate the pedal for each patch, if not globally?

The Eventide pedals calibrate automatically, but only save one set of results, so the calibration must be viewed as global.
They will recalibrate if you unplug and replug the pedal.

so unplug, and then just heel/toe to give it the range of sweep?

Unplug then replug – this will recalibrate it.
It does the same thing at powerup.
