Following on from the H9000 Preset Tool I built, I’m looking at building another tool to convert H9 presets to H9000.
Does anyone know what fields the crc32 tag is calculated from. Is it everything except metadata, and what order are they in.
Specifically, I’m interested if the “plugin_preset” field is included in the crc32 calculation. I suspect it is, and I’ll need to generate a crc32 for the H9000, as the H9 doesn’t have this check. I’ve tried a whole range of different field combinations on online crc32 generators and haven’t been able to get a match.
Happy to sign an NDA with Eventide if there are concerns with disclosing this.
