Hello,
Ref: As a special thank you to registered H9 Max owners, we are offering a free license for the H9 Series Plug-in Bundle through Dec 31, 2020.
The offer email link takes me to the Eventide claim license page. Maybe I am just doing this wrong but when claiming the free plugin bundle for H9 MAX does not work for me. I have my Eventide credentials Account, email, and Account in the Ilok account field. When I press claim your license, I get error (An error has occurred). Do I need to have Ilok account / SW to manage this or what is wrong?
Thanks & best regards,
Pekka

Yes, you need to create a FREE iLok account. Visit http://www.iLok.com and, on the top left, click on “Create Free Account”. Then, download the free iLok License Manager. Once installed, you may move licenses from your online account to your computer or usb dongle, if you have one. Upon opening your DAW, the plug-ins should automatically authorize.

I have been an H9 Max user for many years. I just came across an old email regarding a free license for the H9 plug-in bundle. Is this still available?

As far as I know. No. It has ended more than a year ago….

I just found out about this offer too..also a long time H9 Max owner. Is there any chance the plugin license could be made available again?

I will add to this, I have only just found out that I could have claimed the plugin bundle as I’ve had an H9 Max since before the promotion. I would love to have the plugin versions if it’s at all possible now or in the future. Perhaps it could be limited to those who were registered owners at the time of the promotion, and are still registered owners?

Sorry, this was a limited time promotion that is not being offered anymore.

It seems, I did not even receive an email announcing this free offer at the time (keeping all my emails and just searched through them).
So basically, I could buy the Anthology XII upgrade for 199,- today (as I also own an Anthology XI license in addition to the H9 Max) in order to mostly (no real use for the other two additional new licences included in the Anthology XII bundle) get the H9 bundle I could have had for free more than one year ago.
I think I pass this one and most probably also future upgrades to Anthology XIII and further should they require Anthology XII to receive upgrade pricing.
Btw. have the H9 Core and H9 (without Max) devices been discontinued as it seems no longer possible to buy a new H9 Core in order to upgrade it to an already owned H9 Max?

Hello,
Yes, the H9 Standard and H9 Core have both been discontinued. More information about this can be found here: https://www.eventideaudio.com/h9-maxout-program/
If you chose to upgrade your plug-ins in the future, your AXI license will count towards any future versions of the Anthology bundle. Sorry that you missed out on the free H9 bundle, but we are no longer offering that promotion.

So someone just told me on maxing out the H9 you get the plugins bundle for free… Maxed it out, now where are the plugins? You telling me it was a limited offer no longer available? lol. convenient. really.

This was a limited time promotion that is not being offered anymore, and we are not currently advertising this promotion anywhere.
In the future, you can ask us about any promotions on the forums or through support@eventide.com before you decide to make a purchase.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I’m an owner of an H9 max, and I’ve missed the free plugins email. Can I claim it now? Can anyone of the Eventide Staff help me with that? Thanks in advanced.

Ok, I hope it get cracked soon like most of your other plugins as well.
Thanks for your help.

I totally agree, nicototem. We were entitled to the plugins but for whatever reason (no email sent / went to promotions folder, etc), we’ve now been hung out to dry. There are now a whole pile of people who’ve bought a flagship Eventide product, who will never buy one again. I’m one of them. I only hope that if enough people point this out, Eventide will do the rational thing and credit the plugins to the accounts of H9 Max users who had registered units at the time of the ‘promotion’

Honestly, because someone said the plugins would be available for free on their youtube review of the H9 hardware was the only reason I upgraded it to all algorithms. It is super disappointing to read now that this was only a limited promotion. Would it break your neck to be accommodating and prolong the offer? I’m sure it wouldn’t.

I’d really like to see Eventide staff come on here and justify why we shouldn’t get the plugins, rather than saying the old ‘this was a limited time promotion’ once again. We were entitled to the plugins, we should still be entitled to the plugins. It was framed as compensating us for discontinuing development on an expensive unit – but we get no compensation. It makes no business sense to me to have a whole pile of owners who now feel ripped off, and are unlikely to buy Eventide products in the future

Well, those kind of business methods are not unheard of in the audio scene, but it’s a new day and no longer 1990. I’m still hoping someone at Eventide will make an exception and resolve this, as it will not cost them a single penny, but if not I will surely look into alternatives and address this on my channels. It’s a simple calculation. Spend nothing to make a few dissatisfied customers happy, or spend nothing and lose a lot of future business. Do the math Eventide.

Entitled? You’re only entitled to what you pay for. It was a limited time promotion. LIMITED TIME. That time has long passed. If you didn’t redeem the promotion, thats no ones fault but your own.
The sense of entitlement on this thread is disgusting.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>@joeydego mind your own f*****g business. I’ve payed for this unit and I didn’t steal nothing. I hope someone else does. I hope it get cracked and everyone can use it for free. The limited time promotion was misinformed to the customers and they have no loss on activate it limitless for the customers that already payed for the h9 max. Also they are discontinuing a product, that already was too expensive for what they offered on that little box. They are showing that they ripped all owners off showing that we could use a plugin instead. And sounds the same as the unit. Regardless that you have to buy a midi foot controller to run that useless little box. Next time I’ll buy Strymon, boss or Roland. Eventide business model sucks and it isn’t what it used to be. They stayed in the past. Good luck.</p>

Yes please go “support” another brand and steal THEIR product. Downloading cracks is NOT a customer.
They sent emails out and it was widely publicized. You cant manage an inbox and of course, thats someone else’s fault.
