      Hello,

I’m the owner of a secondhand H3000 D/SE, and I have an issue with the unit’s input/output volume that I was wondering if anyone’s seen before or knows how to fix. I understand Eventide doesn’t support these units anymore, but trying my luck here anyway.

So what happens is I’ll be playing audio (line level, balanced) through it, and at some point the volume input/output levels start glitching. The levels will automatically reset from whatever value to 0db, while the display flashes between 0db and no numbers at all.

Attached a video (visuals, no audio) of the issue occurring for reference: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cZ1WbS911qdkOhkz7mXrL6Fq64Cq7kQB/view?usp=sharing

Any ideas what’s causing this? Thank you!

Have you tried resetting the RAM?

      Yes, and the issue persists.

I was reading this GS thread with a user who seemed to have the same problem:
      https://gearspace.com/board/geekzone/337364-eventide-h3000-problems.html#post3597642

They stated, “but the problem with the display is likely caused by the faulty sensor in the data shuttle/wheel. These are expensive to replace if available at all.”

what do you think about that?
