have had this problem since day 1 with my H7600… every time i load a looping algorithm, the unit sends an audible pop through the output…
the problem is.. this pop is captured in the loop! so it basically makes the loopers useless…. this happens in all looping algorithms.
anyone else experiencing this?

Not a problem I know. Do you get the same thing with all inputs physically disconnected ?

yes, of course.
It was there with Orville and it is still there with H8000.
The only way is to save the program with zero feedback when loading it.

Mr taylor12k – would you be so kind as to answer whether you get the problem with all inputs disconnected ?
And,
would you and Mr. Luca be so kind as to name a number of presets that
have this problem ? Even if you think they all do, please give me 3
preset numbers that certainly do.Would you also be so helpful as to tell me the software versions you are running ?

hi nick
yes, i get the click if the cables are disconnected from the back.
i get the click on most (all?) of the loopers.. including presets 711, 712, 713.
i tried luca's suggestion of saving a program with feedback at 0%. i tried this on one of my own loopers that i built and it might have made the problem go away. i need to test on another program.
if so.. thank you, luca!! but it seems like a bug that should be addressed…

all the looper algos have always given me the same result, with any OS, starting from Orville and still on H8000fw.
This made me think that few people were actually using them.
On the other side I think there are some really interesting algos but it is impossible to use them live. I remember I made a track using one of these bugs. It was an algo with pitch shifters that began to oscillate and clip in a very interesting manner.
@taylor: glad if I could help but sorry not to have any real solution to offer

Hi Nick, Luca and Mr. talyolor12k,
i'm happy to find people which have my same kind of problems,
on my H8000FW OS 5.5 i have the same and identical issues on the presets # 711-712-713, also the same is on all the looper-based presets and almost all the Sampler both Large and Small presets too : pops, click and so on…
i've tried anything, but with no results, unfortunately..
I hope that somebody will find a way to fix them.
Let me know Nick,
thank you very much.

thanks Dario for taking the time to check those algorithms.
Unfortunately I had no time to check them to reply to Nick's request.
Nick, out of curiosity, are you getting the same results ?
thanks,
Luca

any new development on this issue from the folks @ eventide?
i'd love to see a bug fix. i got so much use out of the loopers in the Eclipse i'm almost ready to trade my 7600 back for an eclipse!

I use a H8000FW, I've programmed severlook loping patches. The already reported workaround works fine for me, so simply save your preset with feedback 0% and reload the patch once the H8000 has started up. It then might plop once more but after that you're fine.
