H8000A – H8000FW : what ‘s the difference?

Hi eventide forum!

I'm thinking to sell my eclipse 4 for a H8000A used processor.

I will use it to play guitar in live performance & recording studio

What's the difference between H8000A and H8000FW?

Main difference is that H8000FW has a FireWire output for connection to a Mac or PC, and another 4 AES inputs/outputs.

Also, H8000FW is current production and fully supported, while H8000 and H8000A have been superceded. An H8000 or H8000A can be upgraded to H8000FW.
