h8000fw not starting up

after switching on,

my h8000fw shows a white blank display and the Setup and Parameter LED light up.

wont start up.(

any ideas what should be the next move for me?

It may well be totally dead, in which case the next move would be back to the factory.

But, if you are so inclined, and have modest technical skills, remove the lid and check the ribbon to the display (wiggle it in its sockets), and also any large socketed chips (ditto wiggle).

it started up for the last days by holding down the setup key on powering up.

but now i get only a white blank screen.

might want to open it . .
