      Hi,

After buying 5 or 6 individual plugins from the H9 bundle I decided to upgrade to the full bundle during the Black Friday sale. I had bought the individual plugins through Plugin Boutique, and today when I looked under “updates” on their site, there were updates to all those plugins. But, the H9 bundle installer remains at 1.2. Since I’m new to the H9 bundle, I just want to know – will I for some reason not get updates as frequently now? The separate plugins were always updated quite often. Let me know what I’m missing here.

Our plug-in bundle installers will always include the latest versions of the plug-ins. You can click the “release notes” on the plug-in download page to check, but this is not something you need to worry about. Just run the latest bundle installer and you’ll be all set with the latest version.

Ok, great. But – please consider email notifications when updates has been made, as it is very tricky to keep track of plugin updates as it is. I have hundreds of plugins and the process of going through them for new versions typically takes 2-3 hours. Any step towards making this process easier is appreciated, and would also mean I would get the update quicker since I typically go through all plugs every 2-3 months given the time it takes. Or – make a software center like some of the other bigger developers have, so we can check with the click of a button.

Hey Stjarna, we do send out email notifications when we make plugin updates. Perhaps they went to your junk/spam folder? Sometimes announcements are also bundled with other marketing communications.

We definitely hear you on the ease of use a software center (or other in-plugin) mechanism would provide.
