I did a little more digging and saw that in the H90 manual it says “When using an Eventide H9, set the insert latency to 109 samples.” The H90 runs at a 48 kHz sample rate, and latency equals buffer size in samples divided by sample rate. If my logic is correct, that would amount to H9 latency of 2.27 milliseconds. Incidentally that’s much better than the H90 even when the latter is in parallel routing mode with no inserts.
