H9 looper mode via external 3 foodswitch

Hello everybody, I think about using my H9 as a loop station via external 3 footswitch.Just wonder how it works using the external footswitch. Should I program all switches like: 1st record, 2nd play 3rd stop. How should I realize empty command. May I use dubbing via footswitch somehow. Many thank you for support.

I use MIDI switching to cover all of the Looper functions now.  But aux switches work well enough.  You might want to place them close to the H9 or TimeFactor, and use the onboard footswitch for Stop.  Triggering the Record function from the stompbox is possible, but you’ll probably be using that often.  Record and Dub (& Play) are multiple functions under one switch.

I’ve found that keeping Erase somewhat isolated from the rest of the switches helps cut down on accidental erasures.
