H9 Max Start Up Algorithm

How do I set what algorithm is active when I startup my H9? Or is it always the #1 preset?

It’s always the last preset you had loaded before switching off, at least here.

Unfortunately, that isn’t the behavior I am finding.  My main tone comes from the Big Clone algorithm that I have set on the #2 location on my H9.  That is where it sits when I shut it off most times but every time I turn the power back on to the pedal the H9 is running the algorithm in the #1 location.

I also find that if I have any other algorithm running when I shut the H9 off  it resets to the #1 slot when I power it back on.
