Tried searching but got zero relevant results.

I don’t know if my H9 is defective or what. I bought it brand new, I’ve never gigged it. Always just used it as an effect for synths so it’s never even lived at foot level.

Lately I’ve had it patched on the effect send of my console. I have to gain it up on the way out and in but it sounds fine.

However, as of a week or so ago it stopped outputting any effects. I can go into the App on the studio iPad and see the level coming in, but it’s not showing any output of effects. See the attached picture.

I’ve tried changing the bypass settings between bypass enabled, DSP, DSP+FX etc. Messed with a few otehr settings but I can’t get it back to normal.

This happened once before about a year ago and it was just a bypass setting that got it back to normal. I swear I’ve been through all 12 combinations of bypass settings and nothing is budging.

Is there a cheat code? Help!

You can try resetting the pedal settings by powering it on while holding the right footswitch and the HotKnob button. The pedal will display “Clear” as it boots. This will not erase your presets.

If you still have issues after that please email support@eventideaudio.com and we can help you further there.

Thanks I tried that and it made no difference.

I tracked the cables back and made sure everything works.

Tested a delay unit in it’s place to be sure I can use that effect loop and I don’t have any funny buttons pressed on the mixer.

Then I switched to a different preset and now it works?

That is wild. How did that one preset turn into a dud?

I’ll have to go back and reverse engineer the settings on that one to find out how that happened.

Good to hear you figured it out.

Maybe you have kill dry on and the mix is turned down on that preset?
