Hi Eventide,
Sorry if this question has already been answered, but I am not sure if I saw this posted elsewhere.
Fundamentally I am interested in purchasing an H9 Max however I want to run it only in the FX loop. I have no desire to run it in front of the amplifier.
I need to add the H9 to my current effects loop, but I do NOT want to remove any pedals that I currently have, however I am definitely open to changing the order of the pedals if required.
I also do not have a need to run multiple H9 effects at once (so just one H9 is all I want)
I think the challenge here is that I need to run the pitch/modulation pedals in a loop with the decimator, however I have the delay/reverb outside of the decimator loop.
So the current setup is: FX Send -> Whammy -> Pitchfactor -> Mobius -> Decimator in -> Decimator out -> Timeline -> BigSky -> FX Return
I’d like be able to use all the features of the H9 but I am confused about placement. It would have been ideal if the H9 had (2) FX loop connection options, such that I could place it both within the decimator loop (for pitch/modulation) and again outside of it (for delay/reverb).
I know that you have a pre/post option, but I think that’s only applicable for users that want to place it in front of the amplifier as well as within the FX loop.
I have attached the current set up to aid in the illustration.

Hi, pre/post routing can be used anywhere in your signal chain. You can use pre/post routing so it can be used either in or after decimator loop depending on the pre/post setting of each preset you set on H9.
