I have installed the plugins for H9, have Ilok running, all verified and active (ilok and logic plugin manager) and yet when I go to plugins they do not appear. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi sorry for your issue. Please try the following steps that apply to your setup:

      Windows:

      1. Confirm that you have the latest version of the plug-in installed: https://www.eventideaudio.com/products/plugins
      2. Confirm that you have the latest version of iLok License Manager installed (http://www.ilok.com).
      3. Make sure the plug-in license is activated to your machine or iLok dongle in the iLok License Manager.
      4. If you are using VST2, Eventide Plug-ins are installed to the following locations by default. Please make sure that your DAW is set to look at the applicable custom folder:
        1. VST32c:Program Files (x86)Common FilesSteinbergVST2Eventide
        2. VST64c:Program FilesCommon FilesSteinbergVST2Eventide

      5. If steps 1-4 don't solve your issue, close your DAW and run the plug-in Uninstaller. The uninstaller is located at Start Menu->Control Panel->Programs and Features->Uninstall a Program
      6. Open your DAW and rescan your plug-ins, and then shut your DAW again.
      7. Deactivate and reactivate the plug-in license in iLok License Manager.
      8. Reinstall your plug-in. If you are installing VST2 to a custom folder, make absolutely sure you are installing the correct 32 or 64-bit version to that folder.
      9. Reopen your DAW and rescan your plug-ins.

      Mac:

      1. Confirm you have the latest version of your plug-in installed: https://www.eventideaudio.com/products/plugins
      2. Confirm that you have the latest version of iLok License Manager installed (http://www.ilok.com).
      3. Make sure the plug-in license is activated to your machine or iLok dongle in the iLok License Manager.
      4. Close your DAW, and delete the following files:
        1. AAX: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-ins/Eventide/<plugin name>.aaxplugin
        2. VSTMac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Eventide/<plugin name>.vst
        3. AUMac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/<plugin name>.component
        4. Presets and Docs~/Music/Eventide/<Plugin Name>/ (whole folder)

      5. Open your DAW and rescan your plug-ins, and then shut your DAW again.
      6. Deactivate and reactivate the plug-in license in iLok License Manager.
      7. Reinstall your plug-in
      8. Reopen your DAW and rescan your plug-ins.
      9. AudioUnit only: If still not showing, some macOSes occasionally require a restart for Audio plugins to correctly scan.

If you are still unable to see your plug-ins in Logic:

      1. Launch Logic Pro X
      2. Go to Preferences->Plug-in Manager and select "Reset and Rescan Selection"
      3. If the plugin fails validation, then copy the output of the white window, and send it to us
      4. If the plugin passes validation but still does not show in the Insert menus, try the following steps:
        1. Close Logic Pro X
        2. Make sure Finder is the active application
        3. While holding the Option key, click on the Go menu at the top of your screen and select Library
        4. Delete the following files from your User Library, if they are present:
          1. ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.audiounits.cache
          2. The contents of ~/Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache/
          3. ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.InfoHelper.plist
          4. ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.SandboxHelper.plist

        5. Then, open a Terminal window (Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal), and enter the following commands (type each command and press "Enter" afterwards)
          1. killall -9 cfprefsd
          2. killall -9 AudioComponentRegistrar

        6. Restart your computer
        7. Restart Logic Pro X

      Plug-in not passing validation:

      1. Launch Logic Pro X
      2. Go to Preferences->Plug-in Manager, and check if the plug-in is listed
      3. Highlight the plug-in and select "Reset and Rescan Selection"
      4. If validation fails, copy the output of the white window, and send it to us

Let me know how it goes.

      -Tyler
