      Hi All

I’m looking at buying a pedalboard with 2 power supplies included. These are Powertrain 1250’s. I have an H9, and  realise that it needs to be powered by an outlet with min 400-500mA depending on who you ask.

The Powertrain 1250 has among the other standard 9v 100mA outputs, 4 outputs that share a total of 500mA. Could I use one of these, even if it means that I could’t use the other three in that section? I realise that I may need a specific able because of the type for power input cable to the H9. The product is now discontinued, so it’s hard to find all the spec but there are a couple of links below.

      Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I can’t give you a definitive answer for this since it is an older, discontinued power supply and the user manual is not very clear. You may be able to power an H9 using one of the outlets from the shared 500 mA group. You will need a power cable that provides a center positive connection.

You would probably be better off using a newer power supply, but you may be fine using these.
