H9 question

      Hey!

      A long time H8000 user and I just bought a h9 and been lurking around with it today.

      Looking at the h910 H949 algorithm, one thing annoy me a lot.

      The pitch shift parameter is addressed as a ratio. why is that so? it is completely confusing.

      Why not use cents or half notes?

      Is there an algorithm that can replicate the angelic echoes preset fro H8000?

      Hi Tony,

      The original H910/949 boxes (from the late 1970s) did the pitch shift as a ratio.  We kept it that way in our modeling of those boxes to stay true to their original form and function.   

      You might get close to angelic echoes with Shimmer, but that is one that we were thinking of doing a new algorithm for.
