Doesn’t Aggravate cover most of this?

If you haven’t tried it, try turning off all of the bells and whistles in Aggravate.

That leaves you with a great but basic drive/fuzz.

Adjust treble, drive, and level to taste.

Agreed.  Just to add this might be easier to pull off in CrushStation.  Yes, you would still have to zero out the extra bells ‘n’ whistles.

I see an advantage there with separate Bass & Treble for the roll-offs, plus individual Mids boost & frequency for that ~1 KHz. hump.

Then again, WeedWacker is pretty much Tube Screamer territory, with two stages for carving up the frequency spectrum.  So, it’s in the same lineage.

I’ve had Klons, Tubescreamers, Rats, Timmys, various distortions and fuzzes and many others. I’m not sure I would especially single out the Rat as one to model. I think the Aggravate approach of a fully tuneable generic drive makes far more sense.

I would also add that I’ve had all of the Line 6 pedal models and while they may be OK for a gig they fall far short when compared to the real thing.

I understand the request but am not sure I would prioritise development resource to it.
