      Hello everyone,

despite my research, I haven’t been able to find the solution. I would like to connect an external footswitch for the tap tempo .Do I need a TS or TRS cable? And then, once connected to the EXP/CTL socket, how do I program the tap tempo function?

I hope the translation is correct.

Thanks for your advice and help.
      All the best.

A TRS cable would be best, but with a single button aux switch a TS cable can work.

You can set Tap Tempo as a global mapping directly on the pedal, or using H90 Control.

Hello and thank you for your help, the tap tempo works, but every time I tap it turns the effect on and off.
I tap 3 times minimum to set the tempo and the pedal turns off/on/off/ ….
      Is this normal?
      Thanks
      Thierry

You’re welcome. It sounds like you have also made an aux switch mapping for bypass. I would suggest using H90 Control so you can see all your mappings and you can turn that mapping off.

      Hello everyone,

I spent a lot of time trying to find out how to program and control the tap tempo function with an ext switch connected to CTL1. For tap tempo, no problem, I understood it works, but at the same time, it turns the preset on and off.
Please, can someone explain the steps to follow for this to work? I hope the translation is correct.
      Thank you in advance.

        Hi Thierry,

I suspect that tbskoglund is correct.

I suspect that you have properly mapped “tap tempo” to an aux switch, but that you have also mistakenly mapped “act/byp” to that same aux switch.

        Please try this:

Open the H90 Control app and select the program with the problem.  Look at the three buttons on the top of the screen and make sure “Edit” has been selected.

Then look at the four buttons at the bottom of the screen and select “Control Assignments” (near the right side).

Just above the bottom of that screen you will see “Performance Parameter Mapping”.

In there, Switch “P” and Control Source “Off” should be highlighted by default.   If Control Source “Aux” is highlighted instead, that is your problem.  Select Control Source “Off” to solve your problem.

Now select Switch “A”.  If Control Source “Aux” is highlighted, that is your problem.  Select Control Source “Off” to solve your problem.

Now select Switch “B”.  If “Control Source “Aux” is highlighted, that is your problem.  Select Control Source “Off” to solve your problem.

If your problem is solved, please save your program (there are several ways to do this) and let us know.

        Hope that helps,

        ~Tony

      Hi Tony,
thank you for your help, there must be another parameter to change, because I still have the same problem.
I’ve attached 2 screenshots of the application pages. Maybe they’ll tell you something.
      Best regards.

Thank you. The issue is both Tap Tempo and Load are assigned to Aux Switch 1. You will need to assign these functions to different Aux Switches to avoid the problem you are experiencing.

If you do not need your switch to load a Program, you can turn the “Load” mapping to off.

Otherwise, you should map that to another footswitch.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

      Hi Tony,
I can’t do it. I play in bank mode. In edit and control assignments , I don’t understand what FS1,FS2, FS3…… correspond to.
      In system and external control , I can’t find aux1 .
      Thank you for your help.
      Thierry
