Hoping someone can help me with this routing question. I’ve been racking my brains for the last few weeks trying to figure this out. I’m sure it’s an easy solution and I’m just dumb.
I have the H90 and an HX Stomp (In addition to drives, etc…, but these two are the what I want to build around). What I want to do is run one effect on the H90 (call it preset A) in FRONT of all drive section. Specifically, I plan on using this preset for pitch stuff. From there I want to run a wet/dry setup with kill dry on Preset B + a Strymon CloudBurst. I’m running stereo currently, but that’s not really a requirement, and honestly I’m looking for an excuse to go mono anyways. Ideally, I want the drive section (post preset A) to run into my HX Stomp where I’ll use two amps in separate paths. One dry dry, and one wet. Simple enough right? But for the life of me I can’t figure out how to 1) run effect A before the drives, 2) run the post drive signal through effect B, 3) run effect B and the CB in parallel kill dry on a parallel path. The dual amp thing is a nice to have, not a have to have (again, all modeled amps on the Stomp, not physical amps). If it can’t be done, so be it. But I have to imagine that with the dual mono inserts on both the HX and H90, as well as the path options on the HX this is all possible.

Hello jdasader,
I recommend watching this video where I cover how to use the H90 in W/D setups using both Insert and Dual Routing modes. Perhaps it will give you some ideas.

Thx. This is a great video btw. Thx for creating it! I’ve probably watched it a dozen times before today, and I still learn something from it.
The example around the 11:08 mark is the closest to what I’m looking for, but after the first insert (labeled preamp in the video), I would like to do insert 2 and preset B in parallel. Is that possible?

Presently, it is not possible to run one insert in parallel with a single algorithm. It’s only possible to run an insert in parallel to both.
