Maybe I missed something but is it possible to view the algorithm names in perform mode ? – ie: having to switch back from Perform mode to Select mode to check if the A or B button switches on the mod delay or the reverb is kinda tedious, especially when I’ve got a guitar in hand.

Also, can something be done with the poor implementation of the Looper ? It would be great if I could dedicate one of the A or B switches to stop or undo the loop instead of having to double click the one button looper to stop the loop. I know this can be done with midi but I’d prefer a simpler solution.

And the tuner – it’s not great… from the manual “Press and hold the A and B Footswitches together ”  – I’ve tried this and it’s very flakey – usually needs a few attempts before it appears .

The H90 has a couple of nice algorithms and is useful in the studio but I won’t be using it live – it’s just not very guitar player friendly. 🙁

      No.

We have improvements forthcoming in this regard. For now, the alternative is mapping the looping functions to an external 3-button aux switch.

From the manual “Press and hold the A and B Footswitches together ” – I’ve tried this and it’s very flakey – usually needs a few attempts before it appears.

Similarly, access to the tuner can be mapped to an external aux switch. On my board, one button gets me there.

Why are my settings for foot switches not saved ? I configure the Performance Parameter Mapping for each switch to correspond to an action but when I ‘Save’ the preset it reverts back to the default settings ?? Must be doing something wrong – have attached a screen recording of H90 control.

I can’t seem to find your screen recording, but you may need to Save it at the Program level, and not the individual Preset A / Preset B Save To Library?

Thanks for your help .  I clicked on the ‘save’ icon in the H90 Control software ( which I assume is how you save to the program level ) and the Performance Parameter Mapping settings were saved for the A & B buttons. None of my external pedals work with the looper but at least I was able to save the settings – progress ! Now I have to work out how to get the TRS aux pedal or my midi pedal to control the looper. Would be nice to have a video tutorial or instructions with screen grabs on how to do this  🙏

Hi – finally got it to work  ! Confusing H90 Control meant I had multiple functions for one switch.  Now I have Record/ Play on switch #1 , Stop on switch #2 and Empty on switch #3 .  Is there any way to prevent ‘Dub’ mode from coming on ? I noticed that when ‘Dub’ mode is activated after ‘Record’ and I press on the switch to go to ‘Play’  the loop drifts out of sync with the midi clock. I just want it to go straight from Record to Play. Thanks –  have attached screen grab of settings.

Glad to hear you got it working.

If you are syncing the Looper to MIDI clock, I would suggest you leave Play Mode at AutoPlay. Turn tempo sync on and set the max length to determine how long you want the loop. Record your loop and let the loop close itself when it reaches the max number of beats. Do not press “Play” to close the loop, as that will enter Dub mode.

If that solution doesn’t work for you, you can use another controller for the dedicated “Play” looper transport control. Pressing record again while you are recording will trigger a “Play/Dub” action.

Thanks –  second method worked best – although the loop drifts out of sync after a few minutes 🤨 think I’ll buy a dedicated looper for live use..
