H9000 – Mac OS Catalina – Emote Crashes PT

Hello Eventide World!

 

I just received an Eventide H9000 and I’m having issues getting the Emote software to load up in Pro Tools.

I turn on my Mac, Turn on my Apollo, Turn on my H9000, I then launch Pro Tools, Create a new 96k session, create a new stereo audio channel, go to insert Emote plug-in on this channel and Pro Tools crashes everytime.

I have my H9000 connected via Ethernet port and Emote run in standalone sees it just fine.

I also have the supplied USB cable connected as well to my Mac for audio but I haven’t gotten that far yet.

 

Any thoughts?

 

Here’s the details of all software/hardware involved:

 

Mac Trashcan (Late 2013) running OS Catalina 10.15.4

Pro Tools Ultimate Version 2020.3.0

Emote Software Version 1.2.2

H9000 (Rev G)

Software:1.2.2 [3] (30dd471e)

Sorry about this – it is a known issue with the AAX version of emote and Mac OS Catalina.  We have fixed this and the current public beta version (1.2.4) has the fix – refer to the sticky post in this forum for details.
