I currently use a Line 6 Helix an 2 H9s for guitar effects but am looking into using an amp and the H9000 and a midi foot pedal controller instead. I can not find any data on the details of its midi implimentation. Here is what I’m looking for:
Control Change
Progam Change
Midi Clock Recieve
Tap tempo
Is this something that the H9000 will do?
Thank you.

Hi Shawngs,
All of the details about the H9000’s MIDI implementation is available in the user guide: https://www.eventideaudio.com/support/downloads/h9000-user-guide

What about the H9000R? I know there is currently no way to control via MIDI, but you had said it could be in the neasr future earlier in January. Is there a better sense of ETA in beta?

Hi J20056,
As far as I know, the H9000R has the same MIDI implementation as the H9000, except for being able to change scenes with MIDI, which is high on the to-do list.
Instead of using the front panel, you have to use Emote. https://s3.amazonaws.com/com.eventide.downloads/Product+Manuals/Emote+User+Guide.pdf

I know, and we discussed this last time. My issue is switching presets from a MIDI pedalboard during a live gig. Can’t use Emote for that. I’d be happy to be a beta tester for such functionality. I was hoping your answer would provide a bit more clarity about the ETA even for a beta.
