So, I’m looking through the manual and it seems like my understanding of the hotknob is incorrect. Seems like it a one-touch expression pedal. I thought that it was a separate programmable trigger. Am I wrong? Here’s what I’d like and I don’t know if I can do it. I would love it if I could set the hotknob to put a reverb patch into FREEZE or use as a repeat button on a delay patch. Is this possible to do this apart from any expression pedal settings I have?
Your latest understanding is correct. The knob, (not the switch), acts exactly like an expression pedal. If you find this confusing, I entirely understand (sorry).
No. As I said, the knob acts like an expression pedal – turning it is like pressing a pedal. Pushing it (the switch) has other functions. See UM for details.
