Hotswitches and H90 control

I might be an idiot but is there a way to program hotswitches in the H90 Control? I see that you can go into the Edit menu and go to the Control Assignments sub menue, but how do you set a specific parameter to have a specific value assigned to like hotswitch 1? Is there a way to do this or do you have do do it on the H90 pedal (witch seems very complicated to me (I am an idiot I guess)).

In the H90 Control Edit page: check out the small icons bottom right.  (18) in the link below:

HS1 – HS2 – HS3

• Click on one of these, and it’ll (probably) show all of the parameters grayed out.
• Click on the upper right of any parameter to (+) and adjust the now active value.
• PGM reverts back to show all of your base Program settings
• That particular HSx Performance Parameter should now toggle between settings
