Hello, good day.
Hi, I just bought the H90 and I’m trying to integrate it into my setup in the best possible way and I don’t know what the best option is. I use two amps and the GigRig Atom switcher.
What I want to do is sometimes use the two presets of the H90 in stereo to the two amps, other times use the two presets on the H90 only in one Amp (Wet/Dry), and other times use one preset of the H90 in stereo to the two Amps while the second preset of the H90 only to one Amp.
I don’t know if this can be achieved by using outputs 1 and 2 of the Atom switcher to inputs 1 and 2 of the H90, and output 1 of the H90 to the input of Amp1 and output 2 of the H90 to the input of Amp2. Please help!
I appreciate your help in advance

Hello,
Are you going straight into the amps or using any amp effect loops? Do you have a diagram of your setup by chance?

Hi, Joe. Here I attached the Diagram.
Thank you!

Hi. Thank you for your response.
The idea is to go straight into the Amps like this:

There are no effects connected to the Atom switcher running in stereo, but I could use it, just that I’m trying tu use the H90 independently because I can control the H90 via MIDI, and that way I can save the atom loops for analog pedals.
I don’t know if it was clear what I’m trying to achieve, but to be more precise I’ll give you some examples:
Let’s say that in the first example I would like to use the Tape Delay algorithm in stereo on both amps and the Plate Reverb algorithm in stereo on both amps.
In the second example I would like to use both algorithms just in one amp. Let’s say the Pitch Crystals algorithm and the Shimmer algorithm, both algorithms on Amp1, and no algorithm on Amp2.
In the third example, I would like to use, say, the Even Vibe algorithm in stereo on both amps, and the Spring Reverb algorithm only on Amp1.
And one last example that I forgot to mention, would be to use one algorithm on Amp1 and another algorithm on Amp2. Let’s say the Chorus algorithm on Amp1, and the Ultratap algorithm on Amp2.
I hope it was easier to understand this way. I think there is a way achieve this, but I don’t know which the correct way is.
Thanks for your help.

You asked for:
1. Two presets coming out of the H90 in stereo to both amps
2. Two presets being routed to one amp while running the second amp dry.
3. One preset to both amps in stereo, the other preset only directed to the second amp.The simple answer is no, the H90 cannot do ALL of these configurations on a program basis. However, each configuration is possible by itself.
#1 is self explanatory as it just requires us to connect the outputs of H90 to each amp.
#2 would require running a wet/dry configuration where you would need to dedicate an insert on the H90 as a splitter and send signal from Out 3 to one amp, while the other wet amp uses Out 1. This configuration is explained in this video: https://youtu.be/0G_WtfUatSc?t=786&si=cfHsVeGn_4Moz9Yp
#3 is not possible on the H90, but we can get close in mono. If you create a parallel path on the H90, you can place an insert after one of the two presets. Use Out 3 to connect to one amp, and the second amp connect to Out 1. This configuration will allow you to mix both presets to one amp, but only have one of the two presets to the second amp. This configuration is shown exactly at 19:34 of this video: https://youtu.be/0G_WtfUatSc?si=oQYhuAgO5765liJw&t=1174Again, since all of these configurations would require reconnecting the H90, it’s not possible to do on a program basis.

Could this be achieved using Stereo Loopers on the Atom and running the algorithms independently?
Thank you

OK Thank you.
Another question. In Dual Routing Mode, the H90 is supposed to work as two independent pedals, Does that means that I can connect the Output 2 of the H90 to the Input 3 of the same H90.
The signal pat would go like this:
ATOM OUT 1 —–> H90 IN 1 —–> H90 OUT 1 —–> AMP 1
ATOM OUT 2 —–> H90 IN 2 —–> H90 OUT 2 —–> H90 IN 3 —–> H90 OUT 3 —–> AMP 2Thank you

H90 outputs 1-2 are a stereo pair. If only 1 of these outputs goes to another signal processor / effects pedal, then you will not have a true stereo signal.
This is not recommended for stereo operation, but there is no harm that can be done to your pedal if you try this, so you can see if you like how it works this way.
There is only so much you can do with a given setup. Typically, a user will either choose stereo OR wet/dry. It is not possible to do both without reconfiguring your setup.
You could try a Wet/Dry/Wet setup if you’d like wet/dry and having it be in stereo: https://cdn.eventideaudio.com/manuals/h90/1.9.7/content/setup/wet-dry-wet.html
