How to set H90 Program volume

I’m using the Pitchflex algorithm for a simple -4th harmony effect on a solo.  problem is, when i kick on the effect, it’s louder than my unaffected tone.  this is noticeable as i switch the effect on/off a couple times within a solo.  I’ve tried the Gain knobs in the General section, but they do nothing to control the overall Program volume, no matter what extreme i set them to.  what am i missing here?

On the pedal itself – press the Parameters buttun, then press the P led buttun (make sure it’s lit) and change Out Gain to control the level of the overall program.
