      Hi! I just got an H90 to pair with a Tonex and I am in trouble. The routing in the Tonex does not allow stereo in or an fx loop, but I want to use the Tonex for the headphone out and as an audio interface. This means that I would need to run the H90 in mono straight into the Tonex at the end of the chain. I get the majority of my tone from pedals, so the Tonex will be a clean amp and should handle the pedals before it fine. I’m just bummed about not having the stereo option. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

      Short answer is no. I run the H90 in mono and only recently started using it in Dual Routing mode.

      Thanks for the reply, Anthony. I feel like I will be missing some functionality, but I am going to wire it up in mono and see how it goes. Thanks!

      This may be an unpopular opinion, but modelers used as interfaces are a bad idea. They are almost always under featured and from what I’ve seen, plagued with problems while doing interface duty.
      I’d get myself at least a cheap Behringer or something so I can get stereo effects into my computer. A pedalboard is a completely different thing, most are in mono anyway. It would be a shame not to hear these fx in stereo in a good listening environment though. FWIW my H9 is wired stereo to my FM9 for my live rig and it MATTERS.

      I feel that way about it being a shame not to hear it in stereo, too. When I play with an actual amp, I only use one amp. But I would prefer to get stereo in headphones and I don’t really want to use a computer every time I want to use headphones, so I’m not sure what I’m going to do.

      <p style=”text-align: center;”>I decided to wire it up with the Tonex before the H90 and a Polymoon in the loop of the H90. I am just going to buy an external audio interface to use it in stereo and for headphone use. It seemed too bad to use the H90 in mono. Thanks for the assistance!</p>
