I’m trying to map the snapshots to a midi controller in Ableton. I have used the ‘configure’ option in octavox and can map the snapshots to a pot knob but it is difficult to determine which snapshot is selected with the continuous movement of the knob. I would prefer to map the snapshots to ‘buttons’ / pads on my midi controller and found a way of doing this using dummy clips, by setting the snapshot in the clip’s automation envelope. However, this behaves very strangely, and, for example, I cannot get it to trigger snapshots 2 or 4 (though 1 and 3 work fine). Seems very odd. Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem, or can suggest a better way of switching between snapshots with a hardware controller?
