I'm trying to make a basic midi controlled synth via vsig and a H8000FW but I'm having problems getting the envelope to respond to midi gates properly. I've got an oscillator going into an ampmod with an audio adsr going into the ampmod mod input. I'm triggering the audio adsr with midi notes, converted from control to audio.
I can play notes this way, however I have to play them pretty slowly or they don't trigger. Also if I use a sequencer to trigger the midi, the notes don't get triggered in time most of the time, the timing is all over the place. Is the audio adsr able to do this or am I going about this the wrong way?
