Modfactor Expression Pedal Via MIDI

I have one expression pedal.  I plug into my Pitchfactor and control my Modfactor via MIDI.  Everything works well except on QWah patches I cannot get a wah sound when I set the source knob to EXP PDL.  The Modfactor display goes from 0 to 99 but there is no modulation.  If I plug directly into the Modfactor it works fine.  I know I can just set it up the other way (contol Pitchfactor via MIDI which is what I did)  But I am just curious why it does not work the other way.  Both units have been upgraded to Beta versions, just wondering if there could be a bug.

There was a bug (620 – fixed in latest Beta release) which meets your description. The problem would be cured by putting a jack (connected or not) into the pedal socket.

Maybe it got unfixed. We'll check.

You're right (you knew this). It got unfixed – we'll fix it in the full release (due in a few weeks). Sorry.

The same workaround applies – put any old jack plug into the pedal socket and the MIDI will work.
