Mute volume with expression pedal

Hello,

I am using the BOSS EV-30 as an expression pedal for my H90.
This works great, but I want to use the pedal for volume too.

I already set my expression pedal to do this (by setting it to In Gain or Out Gain),
but when setting the pedal to heel position, the volume only goes down to -60dB.
I recently had a gig where the sound guy was telling me he could still hear me (softly)
while my expression pedal was all the way up (to 100% heel position).

Is it possible for Eventide to make the lowest value of In Gain or Out Gain not ‘-60dB’ but ‘Mute’?
That way I can be sure no one will hear me during a gig when I don’t want to.

Hello,

I have logged your request for an option to fully mute the signal using an expression pedal.

Do you just need to mute the signal fully when you are not playing? You could use the tuner to accomplish this. Press the A+B footswitches together to access the tuner, and it will also mute your signal if set to MUTE.

That’s it. I just don’t want to have to use two footswitches and the expression pedal each time I need to make a swell from 0 to 100 😉
