        Hi,

When I disable vactrol modelling on the wavefolder, and modulate the frequency (all the way to the right) with S+H, LFO, key, velocity, TMB, and some envelope release times, the audio will decay after release, but then sustain/hang for ~1s at the very end.

If I enable vactrol modelling, there is no sustain/hang after release.

Is this how it’s supposed to function, or is there a problem?

I’m using Reaper v7 if that matters. It was also happening in v6, but I only just narrowed down what was happening/causing it.

Sorry if this was poorly explained, I can make a short video demonstrating the problem if that helps.

        Thanks

Actually you don’t even need to modulate the frequency, just seems to be happening when vactrol model is disabled.

Here is a 35s clip of the issue.

It was nothing to do with modulation, it simply happens when I disable vactrol model. Generators, wave folders, voices, etc, don’t change the outcome.

            Generate v1.5.6
            REAPER v7.03
AMD 5600x, 32GB RAM, NVMe drive

            This also happens in Pendulate.

I contacted both Newfangled / Eventide support a couple of weeks ago, but I haven’t received anything back..

Hope someone is able to help me solve the issue.

            Thanks.

Hey sorry, we can reproduce this and should have a fix available soon.

                That’s great to hear, thanks.
