My internal battery requires replacement every 6 to 9 months. Is this normal?
To help the Eventide support team, I have carefully documented the coin cell voltage and exact date that it was last replaced:
Sept 8, 2008 – Installed new CR2430 battery, voltage = 3.26V
May 30, 2009 – Checksum errors. Removed internal battery, voltage = 0.56V
May 30, 2009 – Installed new CR2430 battery, voltage = 3.27V
Obviously, this is not a problem that prevents use of the Eclipse. I do not use the internal memory to store programs/setups. I put everything on memory card, and have multiple backups. Replacing the battery is inconvenient, but not difficult.
Thanks!
