      Is it normal to lose your presets when upgrading to v4.1 on the eclipse?

      I was on v3.5

      It is normal. This is clearly stated in the release notes. In addition, the upgrade page says "In
      particular you must back up all user presets first." Sorry.

      There is one possible option – if you have not used it very much, try downgrading to V3.5, and some of your old presets may be accessible (not guaranteed). If you are this lucky, back them up very quickly.

      Thanks much for the response.
      I've started rebuilding them already.. sometimes this ends up being a good thing (starting over).

      The bad part is I've forgotten how to build/move presets/algos. So I'll print the updated manuals and preset lists and get to work.

      I love the sound of the Eclipse, but working with it is difficult. It takes a lot of tinkering to get what I want.
