  is the pitch box also for studio applications?
  
  can you use it also as a sort of aux insert/send in DAW?
  
  Is it usefull for that sort of applictions?

  Absolutely. All of our stompboxes have line level stereo I/O and quite a few of our users have Factor's sitting on their consoles or next to their DAWs. Check out page 8 of the User Guide for more info.
