Space : no lights for the Hot Switch

Hi Guys, 

 

 

I have just purchased a space stompbox and I can't resolve  this problem :  When I push the hot switch there’s no light. I mean, I tried to program my sounds by  pressing  and holding  the middle footswitch and turn the knobs but there’s no light ( above the hot switch) and no reaction. 

I was wondering if it was a lack of understanding or just a digital bug ?

Well, you know about the difference between performance mode and preset mode?  In preset mode the middle footswitch decrements presets and in performance mode pushing the middle footswitch activates the hotswitch.  You long press the right footswitch to switch between modes.  Are you in performance mode when you've been trying to program the hotswitch?  And if so, are you seeing the LED for the middle footswitch light up in either mode?
