I’m looking for a higher quality power supply for the sometimes noisey H90. I’m curious if this will fix its USB woes.

The only ones I see out there are for guitar players with multiple pedals.

I use mine in the studio like a rack effect so I only need to power one device.

Anyone have any advice here? or am I forced to buy an expensive power supply for 5 or more devices?

If the noise happens only when you connect the USB cable, it’s most likely due to a ground loop issue in the studio. Making sure all devices share the same power outlet might help fix the problem.

      +1

I have had the same experience. Being on the same power generally clears it up.

I’ve been given that advice & it helps a bit but the H90 is still one of the noisiest (& most expensive) pieces of gear in the studio.

I don’t have the USB issue with any of my USB synths – Waldorf, Korg, Behringer, Arturia.. I’ve loads of USB devices even Boss USB fx pedals – are dead quiet.

My question still stands – I think these units need a better power supply.
