        Hello,

I looking for confirmation on the method used to increase the looper buffer in the TimeFactor. It is stated that increasing the looper length will decrease audio quality. Does the TimeFactor reduce the sample rate of the looper buffer to achieve longer times?

For example, if the looper speed is set to 1X the time is 12 seconds. Lets assume the sampling rate is 48000HZ. If the looper speed is set to 1/4X the time is 48 seconds. Does this mean the sampling rate is now 12000HZ?

        Thank you

The core sampling rate that the converters and DSP run at does not change, but the algorithm does up-sample or down-sample the audio.  That means that the sample rate of your dry sample is not affected, but yes, in your example the effective sample rate of the recording in your loop will be 1/4 of the nominal rate.

great, thank you for confirming. I like the sound when it down samples.
