I'll open a ticket for your issue and assist you offline, but it is worth noting on the forums about this issue since we experience this issue almost daily in the Support Department:
I am showing in our database that the unit is currently registered to the previous owner of this ModFactor and you have obviously purchased a pre-owned product. Oftentimes owners do not un-register their product when selling their unit, so if you do decide to sell your Eventide please be certain to unregister the serial number from your Eventide account. You may do so by merely logging into your Eventide account and under "my products", select "unregister".
