Two Mono Sources + FX Loop on H90

Hi All,

 

I am wondering if I can achieve this setup.

 

Ideally I would like to plug my guitar, and one (mono) keyboard into the h90, while also having an external mono fx loop.

 

Could I plug guitar into input 1, synth into input 2, and use I/O 3 and 4 to run my external mono fx chain?

Thinking now I could run the mono fx chain on insert 2 (in 4 – out 4) .

Guitar into in 1.

Keys into in 3 as a return.

Yes, this would be the correct way to do it.

If you have your guitar on input 1 and your synth on input 2, the H90 will think that is a stereo input and you will most likely have undesirable results with how the effects processing works.

Guitar on input 1 and synth on input 3 will give you the correct mono inputs, use routing mode to determine where the synth (insert 1) is in the signal path.
