Using Timefactor with Acoustic Guitar

 I have been happy with the Timefactor with electric guitars, but last night I wanted to use the looper with my acoustic.  The guitar sounds fine going through the Timfactor, but whatever is looped is muddy.  What is changing the tone of the guitar, and what can I do about it?

In the Looper the Filter affects the sound before and after it's recorded. If the sound is muddy try turning the Filter knob all the way up.
